To get the most out of your devices you should wear your aids during your waking hours. Even if you are alone, you should wear your hearing aids so you can adjust to hearing the soft sounds of your environment again, such as appliances humming or noises outside.

Adding annual hearing tests to your healthcare routine is a great way to be proactive. Just like you visit the doctor every year for a physical and the dentist twice a year for a cleaning, you should also have your hearing checked on a regular basis. We recommend individuals with a current hearing loss or who are over the age of 55 have their hearing checked every year. For others you should have your hearing tested around every 5 years, unless you notice a change.
