What to Expect
Whether you visit us at our office or we come to you,
you can expect your first hearing appointment to consist of the following.
Conversation
We always begin with a conversation to get to know you and to understand what your hearing needs are as well as what your hearing goals are.
Ear Exam
To begin the hearing evaluation, we will first look inside your ears to ensure the ear canal looks healthy and there is no impacted earwax affecting your hearing ability.
Hearing Test
We will perform a comprehensive hearing test to assess your ability to hear various sounds at different volumes and frequencies.
Audiogram
We will go over the results of your hearing test which are recorded on an audiogram. We will answer any questions you may have as well as recommend options for amplification.
